Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carmel Cove by Si Chen Yuan was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,760.00 (€ 5,280.53) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Si Chen Yuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lookout Gate in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 31,325.00 (€ 26,244.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Carmel Cove von Si Chen Yuan kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 5.280,53) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Si Chen Yuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lookout Gate im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.325,00 (€ 26.244,14).
