In the The Ullens Collection - The Nascence of Avant Garde China auction, the work Voices Of Identity: Post-Vanguard Doctrine? (Set Of 19) sold for HKD 2,420,000.00 (€ 210,307.00) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,000,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shu Qun; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Identical Voice Series - A Post Vanguardism? sold at auction in December 2013 with the realized price of CNY 1,888,000.00 (€ 226,357.21).
