Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Cuijian - Serve the People (Fast Changing World) by Shu Qun. The price achieved of HKD 740,000.00 (€ 66,196.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shu Qun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Identical Voice Series - A Post Vanguardism?, which sold at auction in December 2013 for CNY 1,888,000.00 (€ 226,357.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cuijian - Serve the People (Fast Changing World) von Shu Qun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 740.000,00 (€ 66.196,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shu Qun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Identical Voice Series - A Post Vanguardism? beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für CNY 1.888.000,00 (€ 226.357,21) versteigert wurde.
