Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Identical Voice Series - A Post-Vanguardism? by Shu Qun for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 105,623.42). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 1,200,000.00 – 1,500,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shu Qun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Identical Voice Series - A Post Vanguardism?, which sold at auction in December 2013 for CNY 1,888,000.00 (€ 226,357.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Identical Voice Series - A Post-Vanguardism? von Shu Qun für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 105.623,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 1.200.000,00 – 1.500.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Shu Qun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Identical Voice Series - A Post Vanguardism? beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für CNY 1.888.000,00 (€ 226.357,21) versteigert wurde.
