This artwork by Shoko Imano achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Plasters sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,112.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shoko Imano; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Love Handle sold at auction in November 2007 with the realized price of HKD 295,500.00 (€ 25,832.11).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Shoko Imano erzielte im November 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Plasters für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 13.112,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Shoko Imano; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Love Handle im November 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 295.500,00 (€ 25.832,11).
