This artwork by Shoko Imano achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Love Handle sold for HKD 295,500.00 (€ 25,832.11) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 140,000.00. This high result makes Love Handle the most expensive artwork by Shoko Imano that we have observed at auctions so far.
