Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Shirazeh Houshiary was sold in the Contemporary Art / Doha auction at Sothebys in Doha in April 2015. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,250.00 (€ 27,996.77). Admittedly, works by Shirazeh Houshiary have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Door in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 122,318.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shirazeh Houshiary wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Art / Doha bei Sothebys in Doha versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.250,00 (€ 27.996,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shirazeh Houshiary auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Door im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 122.318,26).
