Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Shinkei 5 by Shinrō Ōtake was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 8,719.36), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shinrō Ōtake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work RETINA SHIPYARD in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,800,000.00 (€ 219,342.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Shinkei 5 von Shinrō Ōtake wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 8.719,36) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shinrō Ōtake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit RETINA SHIPYARD im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.800.000,00 (€ 219.342,03).
