Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Building And Highway At Night by Shinrō Ōtake was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 140,000.00 – 190,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 13,950.97) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shinrō Ōtake achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work RETINA SHIPYARD in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,800,000.00 (€ 219,342.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Building And Highway At Night von Shinrō Ōtake kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 140.000,00 – 190.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 13.950,97) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shinrō Ōtake erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit RETINA SHIPYARD im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.800.000,00 (€ 219.342,03).
