A top price for Shim Moon-Seup - as previously expected
The work The Presentation by Shim Moon-Seup was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,741.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Presentation is the most expensive artwork by Shim Moon-Seup that we have observed at auctions so far.
