Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session), which included the work The Presentation by Shim Moon-Seup. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 45,779.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Shim Moon-Seup have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2019 the work The Presentation was auctioned for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 50,741.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Afternoon Session) durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Presentation von Shim Moon-Seup zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 350.000,00 – 550.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 45.779,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Shim Moon-Seup konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2019 die Arbeit The Presentation für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 50.741,90) versteigert.
