Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pomegranates by Shi Lu was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 1,197,000.00 (€ 128,157.61) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,000,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shi Lu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lotus in Splashed Ink in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,059,768.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pomegranates von Shi Lu wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.197.000,00 (€ 128.157,61) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.000.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shi Lu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lotus in Splashed Ink im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.059.768,64).
