A top price for Shi Lu - as previously expected
The work Lotus in Splashed Ink by Shi Lu was sold in the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,059,768.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 8,000,000.00 – 10,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lotus in Splashed Ink is the most expensive artwork by Shi Lu that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Lotus in Splashed Ink von Shi Lu wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.059.768,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000.000,00 – 10.000.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Lotus in Splashed Ink das teuerste Kunstwerk von Shi Lu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
