Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ducks amongst Reed by Shi Lu was auctioned at Christies in New York in August this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 201,600.00 (€ 23,714.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Lu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lotus in Splashed Ink in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,059,768.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ducks amongst Reed von Shi Lu kam im August diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 201.600,00 (€ 23.714,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Lu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lotus in Splashed Ink im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.059.768,64).
