The work Pomegranate by Shi Lu was auctioned at China Guardian in October 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 3,000,000.00 (€ 333,708.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shi Lu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lotus in Splashed Ink, which sold at auction in May 2018 for HKD 9,700,000.00 (€ 1,059,768.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pomegranate von Shi Lu kam im Oktober 2021 bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.000.000,00 (€ 333.708,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shi Lu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lotus in Splashed Ink beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für HKD 9.700.000,00 (€ 1.059.768,64) versteigert wurde.
