Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Returning at Night by Shi Hu was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December 2020. The price achieved of HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,034.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Hu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Grand Autumn in April last year with an auction result of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 335,154.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Returning at Night von Shi Hu kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.034,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Hu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Grand Autumn im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 335.154,98).
