Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Moonlight (Painted In 1993) by Shi Hu was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 114,000.00 (€ 116,416.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shi Hu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Grand Autumn, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 335,154.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Moonlight (Painted In 1993) von Shi Hu wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 114.000,00 (€ 116.416,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shi Hu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Grand Autumn beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 335.154,98) versteigert wurde.
