This artwork by Shen Zengzhi achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2016. In the Memories of The Past - Important Collection from Mr. Wang Boqun and The Republic Period auction, the work Calligraphy sold for HKD 212,400.00 (€ 24,995.07) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shen Zengzhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem In Xingshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 173,356.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shen Zengzhi erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Memories of The Past - Important Collection from Mr. Wang Boqun and The Republic Period wurde die Arbeit Calligraphy für HKD 212.400,00 (€ 24.995,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Zengzhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 173.356,03).
