The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Shen Zengzhi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 188,800.00 (€ 21,821.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57%. Admittedly, works by Shen Zengzhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem In Xingshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 173,356.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 57 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Shen Zengzhi kam im Mai 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 188.800,00 (€ 21.821,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Zengzhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 173.356,03).
