The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Shen Zengzhi was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,607.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Shen Zengzhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem In Xingshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 173,356.03).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Shen Zengzhi wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.607,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Zengzhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 173.356,03).
