From the Collection of Mrs. Minzhen Ge 戈敏貞女士珍藏申石伽竹、梅二組 LOTS 1-2 戈敏貞女士（b.1923）生於鎮江，一九四八隨夫婿楊錦谷（1921-1973）舉家由上海移居香港。楊氏以經營紡織紗廠為業，太太戈敏貞則醉心藝術，與居港書畫名家如梁伯譽、董作賓、林大庸、林清霓、馮康侯、王商一等交遊。繼我司今季春拍後，本次網拍再呈其所藏申石伽竹、梅佳作，以饗衆仝好。

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Red Bamboo by Shen Shijia was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in August last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 8,925.00 (€ 1,129.70). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Shijia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Tang Poetry in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 58,613.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Red Bamboo von Shen Shijia kam im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 8.925,00 (€ 1.129,70) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Shijia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Tang Poetry im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 58.613,21).
