Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lotus by Shen Shijia was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 8,925.00 (€ 1,086.11). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Shijia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Tang Poetry in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 58,613.21).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lotus von Shen Shijia wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 8.925,00 (€ 1.086,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Shijia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Tang Poetry im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 58.613,21).
