This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Shen Shijia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Tang Poetry in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 58,613.21).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Shijia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Tang Poetry im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 58.613,21).
