Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lush Green Mountains by Shen Shijia was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,234.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shen Shijia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape After Tang Poetry in October 2020 with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 58,613.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lush Green Mountains von Shen Shijia kam im Oktober 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.234,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Shijia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape After Tang Poetry im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 58.613,21).
