This artwork by Shen Hao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2020. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Enjoying the Wilderness sold for HKD 90,000.00 (€ 9,493.05) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Hao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes in Four Seasons in May 2013 with an auction result of HKD 990,000.00 (€ 98,176.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 80 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shen Hao erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Enjoying the Wilderness für HKD 90.000,00 (€ 9.493,05) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Hao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes in Four Seasons im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 990.000,00 (€ 98.176,78).
