Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2018 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Quiet Dwelling by Shen Hao. The price achieved of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 43,701.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 600,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Hao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscapes in Four Seasons, which sold at auction in May 2013 for HKD 990,000.00 (€ 98,176.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2018 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Quiet Dwelling von Shen Hao zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 43.701,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Hao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscapes in Four Seasons beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für HKD 990.000,00 (€ 98.176,78) versteigert wurde.
