A top price for Shen Chang-Ming
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work The Greatest Virtue Is Just Like Water (Painted In 2020) by Shen Chang-Ming. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 168,000.00 (€ 171,560.87), 40% above the upper estimate. With this result, The Greatest Virtue Is Just Like Water (Painted In 2020) is even the most expensive work of art by Shen Chang-Ming that we have observed at auctions so far.
