It achieved a price of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,028.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sheila Fell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Haystacks in Winter, which sold at auction in November 2020 for GBP 37,750.00 (€ 42,141.74).
