In August this year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Fred and Elinor Wrobel CollectionThe Artist's Eye, which included the work Entrance to Harbour, 1978 by Shay Docking. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 2,091.00 (€ 1,247.77), 39% above the upper estimate. Other works by Shay Docking have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 3,567.00 (€ 2,128.55) in August this year for the work Omeo Gippsland Victoria, 1952.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 2.091,00 (€ 1.247,77) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Shay Docking haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 3.567,00 (€ 2.128,55) im August diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Omeo Gippsland Victoria, 1952 beobachtet.
