Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scenery along Tongjiang by Shao Mi was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 67,290.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shao Mi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscapes after Old Masters in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 527,117.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scenery along Tongjiang von Shao Mi wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 67.290,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shao Mi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscapes after Old Masters im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.060.000,00 (€ 527.117,44).
