Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Riverside by Shao Mi. The price achieved of HKD 41,300.00 (€ 4,545.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 35,000.00 – 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shao Mi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes after Old Masters in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 5,060,000.00 (€ 527,117.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Riverside von Shao Mi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 41.300,00 (€ 4.545,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 35.000,00 – 55.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shao Mi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes after Old Masters im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.060.000,00 (€ 527.117,44).
