Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Return from the Catch by Shao Fei. The price achieved of HKD 25,000.00 (€ 2,236.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shao Fei - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Girls Praying, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,740.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Return from the Catch von Shao Fei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.000,00 (€ 2.236,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shao Fei mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Girls Praying beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.740,56) versteigert wurde.
