A top price for Shao Fei - as previously expected
In November 2013 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Girls Praying by Shao Fei. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 4,740.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Girls Praying is the most expensive artwork by Shao Fei that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2013 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Girls Praying von Shao Fei zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 4.740,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Girls Praying das teuerste Kunstwerk von Shao Fei, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
