Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Shao Fan was sold in the Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Shanghai in April 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CNY 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of CNY 162,500.00 (€ 23,468.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shao Fan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shanshui Hare in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,394,000.00 (€ 284,219.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shao Fan wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art bei Christies in Shanghai versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CNY 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CNY 162.500,00 (€ 23.468,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shao Fan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shanshui Hare im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.394.000,00 (€ 284.219,18).
