Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Shanti Dave was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,383.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Shanti Dave have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 47,750.00 (€ 56,570.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shanti Dave kam im März letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.383,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shanti Dave auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.750,00 (€ 56.570,85).
