Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Shanti Dave for GBP 200.00 (€ 222.82). This price was achieved in the auction South Asian Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shanti Dave achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 47,750.00 (€ 56,570.85).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Shanti Dave für GBP 200,00 (€ 222,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shanti Dave erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.750,00 (€ 56.570,85).
