Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Evermore by Shannon Finley for USD 1,270.00 (€ 1,152.45). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction at Phillips in 17 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Shannon Finley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Moon Pulse". in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 5,160.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Evermore von Shannon Finley für USD 1.270,00 (€ 1.152,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction bei Phillips in 17 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shannon Finley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Moon Pulse". im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.160,00.
