Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In December 2020 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale, which included the work Peach Blossoms and Swallows by Shang Xiaoyun. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 8,287.50 (€ 874.15). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shang Xiaoyun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boating in Autumn Night in May last year with an auction result of HKD 630,000.00 (€ 74,794.52).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Dezember 2020 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peach Blossoms and Swallows von Shang Xiaoyun zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 8.287,50 (€ 874,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shang Xiaoyun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boating in Autumn Night im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 630.000,00 (€ 74.794,52).
