The work Flowers by Shang Xiaoyun was sold in the Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2013. It achieved a price of HKD 11,500.00 (€ 1,140.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shang Xiaoyun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boating in Autumn Night in May last year with an auction result of HKD 630,000.00 (€ 74,794.52).

Die Arbeit Flowers von Shang Xiaoyun wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 11.500,00 (€ 1.140,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shang Xiaoyun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boating in Autumn Night im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 630.000,00 (€ 74.794,52).
