A top price for Shang Shengbo
This artwork by Shang Shengbo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2008. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Peaches sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 12,348.97) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. This high result makes Peaches the most expensive artwork by Shang Shengbo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Shang Shengbo
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shang Shengbo erzielte im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Peaches für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 12.348,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Peaches zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Shang Shengbo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
