Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chrysanthemum by Shang Shengbo was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I auction at POLY in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,715.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Other works by Shang Shengbo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2008 the work Peaches was auctioned for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 12,348.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum von Shang Shengbo wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I bei POLY versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.715,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Shang Shengbo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2008 die Arbeit Peaches für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 12.348,97) versteigert.
