Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Soft History by Seth Price was sold in the LOVE STORIES - from the collection of Anne & Wolfgang Titze auction at Christies in London in October this year. The price achieved of EUR 126,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Seth Price - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cheap Wall, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 449,000.00 (€ 408,404.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Soft History von Seth Price wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion LOVE STORIES - from the collection of Anne & Wolfgang Titze bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 126.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Seth Price mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cheap Wall beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 449.000,00 (€ 408.404,58) versteigert wurde.
