Sold at the upper estimate price
In October 2007 Christies in Paris held the auction Intérieurs, which included the work Sans titre by Sergio de Castro. The auction ended at the price of EUR 300.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sergio de Castro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 23,545.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2007 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Intérieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Sergio de Castro zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 300,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 200,00 – 300,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sergio de Castro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 23.545,00.
