This artwork by Sergio de Castro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2011. In the The BAT Artventure Collection Formerly Known as the Peter Stuyvesant Collection, Part Two auction, the work Grêce Immortelle sold for EUR 11,875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sergio de Castro; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 sold at auction in June 2007 with the realized price of EUR 23,545.00.

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sergio de Castro; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit L'Atelier- Printemps 66, 1966 im Juni 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 23.545,00.
