Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sergei Evgrafovich Lednev-Schukin could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures and a Symbolist Collection with a Richard Wagner section auction, the work A River Running Through A Winter Landscape changed hands for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,083.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sergei Evgrafovich Lednev-Schukin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Frosty Morning in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,624.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sergei Evgrafovich Lednev-Schukin konnte im Juni 2006 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures and a Symbolist Collection with a Richard Wagner section wechselte die Arbeit A River Running Through A Winter Landscape für GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.083,66) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Evgrafovich Lednev-Schukin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Frosty Morning im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.624,78).
