The work Frosty Morning by Sergei Evgrafovich Lednev-Schukin was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,624.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Frosty Morning is the most expensive artwork by Sergei Evgrafovich Lednev-Schukin that we have observed at auctions so far.
