Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work Tank by Sergei Shutov. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,703.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Sergei Shutov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2008 the work At Sunset was auctioned for GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,210.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tank von Sergei Shutov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.703,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sergei Shutov konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2008 die Arbeit At Sunset für GBP 13.700,00 (€ 17.210,60) versteigert.
