Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Portrait', together with 'Provincial travels' by Sergei Shutov was auctioned at Bonhams in London in June 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,228.56) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sergei Shutov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work At Sunset in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 13,700.00 (€ 17,210.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Portrait', together with 'Provincial travels' von Sergei Shutov kam im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.228,56) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sergei Shutov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit At Sunset im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.700,00 (€ 17.210,60).
