Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Three Works On The Theme Of The Circus by Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,450.27). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Set Design For Stravinsky'S Petrushka, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,579.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Three Works On The Theme Of The Circus von Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.450,27) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Set Design For Stravinsky'S Petrushka beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.579,52) versteigert wurde.
