Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Curtain Design For Alexander Blok'S Balaganchik by Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,752.83) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Set Design For Stravinsky'S Petrushka, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,579.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Curtain Design For Alexander Blok'S Balaganchik von Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.752,83) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Sergei Iosifovich Yutkevich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Set Design For Stravinsky'S Petrushka beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.579,52) versteigert wurde.
